Our Desi Gir Cow Ghee is more than just an ingredient — it’s a legacy.
Crafted in collaboration with the Bharwad community of Gujarat, who have cared for Gir cows for generations, this ghee is made the way nature intended: slowly, carefully, and without compromise.
What makes it special?
8000+ Gir Cows grazing freely under the open sky — no chains, no cramped sheds.
Fresh, morning-collected A2 milk.
Churned the ancient bilona way to make pure makhan.
Butter washed twice in cold water to remove every trace of buttermilk, giving ghee its lightness, fragrance, and long shelf life.
Lab-tested purity — free from any adulteration.
From 25–30 liters of fresh milk, we get just 1 liter of ghee. This low yield is exactly why our ghee is so rich in nutrition, aroma, and flavor — and why cutting corners is never an option for us.
Why ₹1699 per liter is a fair price
Every batch is made in small quantities, preserving quality over mass production.
We pay fair prices to the Bharwad families, ensuring their livelihood and care for the cows.
No industrial shortcuts — our bilona process takes more time and labor.
100% pure A2 ghee from Gir cows — no blends, no mixes, no palm oil.
When you choose Urvee Desi Gir Cow Ghee, you’re not just buying ghee — you’re investing in purity, heritage, and the hands that have preserved it for centuries.

When I purchased I like to refer to my all relatives
My mother used to make desi ghee from milk cream from market or accumulated malai from milk. Once we used Urvee's Desi Ghee from Gir cows, it was amazingly tasty and since then we continue to consume the same. Couple of our friends have started procuring the same at our recommendation.
All items received by us are of good quality
I have been regularly using Urvee‘s desi Gir cow Bilona ghee since 9 months. The aroma and taste are strong indicators of its purity. I use it daily on chapatis and in dal and we enjoy putting it on idlis and dosas too! I have made besan and atta laddoos with it and am convinced that it’s the best ghee I’ve used so far! Strongly recommend it!
